- Biography -
Rino Nakasone was born the 11 June 1979
(Gemini) in Naha on the island of Okinawa in Japan. She lived with her mother,
her grand-mother and her little sister. She grew up with a passion : Michael
Jackson and later Janet Jackson. For to learn the dance, she watched their video
clip and shows and knew by heart their choreographies. When she was 19, she
leaved Japan for the USA to go in the university but especially to dance. When
she arrived in Los Angeles, she became the assistant of Dante Harper, a dance’s
teacher in Millenium, Edge Performing Art Centre … She enters in the world of
dance, obtains a work permit thanks to her studies and signs with Bloc Talent
Agency.
She begins to give dancing lessons at Millenuim and at Debbie Reynolds for some
many times until day when she decides with Maryss to become partner : to
choreograph together, they found a group : Geminis. Maryss ables her to enter in
the Beat Freaks shortly after and it’s all linked videos, advertising, movies …
She dances with Marques Houston, Mary J Blige, Britney Spears, Missy Elliott …
Rino wants participate to the Super Bowl for Janet Jackson (it helps her to
renew her papers for to work) but at the same time she must leave for Britney
Spears’ tour. Janet Jackson recommends her to do the Britney Spears’ tour
because the Super Bowl lasts one date. Rino follows her advice and does the
Britney Spears’ tour.
At the end of the tour, Rino and Maryss choreograph Hiccup for Billy Crawford.
After that she starts off again for the tour with Gwen Stefani. She is a
Harajuku girl and represents Music. She is in exclusive contract with Gwen
Stefani for one and a half year, she finishes her contract by the american tour
until November 2005.
Now, she can concentrate on her career of artist (she would like to be singer)
but especially on her dream which it realizes … The work which she waited for
long time appears : Janet Jackson looked for choreographs for to choreograph
with Gil the promotion of her next album. All choreographs submit their video
whose Rino. She is chosen with Tony Testa (he is 18 !!!).
